“We purchased Marshmallow (now Daisy) and Donut (now Teddy) born 9/1/25 on 11/15/25 from Patricia’s Dutchess Ragdolls and brought them back to our home in RI. We had recently lost the third of our three ragdolls of 17+ years. During our extensive search of TICA registered, reputable breeders in the northeast, we discovered this breeder. After comparison to other breeders, we could see the extra care, time, and love this breeder took to bring kittens along in their early days in the best of physical and emotional health before adoption. It was a key requirement that we adopt a brother and sister from the same litter, and we were not disappointed with our adoption. These two kittens, now 9 months, have brought the fun, excitement and love back into our home missing since the prior generation of three ragdolls departed. Susan (wife) and I bonded early with these two balls of love and energy, e.g., sleeping on the couch together with them for the first two weeks before letting them have the run of the house.
As they’re now at nearly 7 months with us, Daisy and Teddy are well adjusted, healthy, loving, lovable and enjoying their life in our RI home. We have attributed their physical and well-adjusted emotional health to their upbringing in Patricia’s cattery, and while it was not possible to continue 100% holistic care as practiced by Patricia, Daisy and Teddy are well cared for by our personal, long term local veterinarians who provide them the best of ongoing care and support. We adhere to their early holistic upbringing as best we can, especially in regards their diet. They have never had any health issues to date and continue to grow and mature at a rapid rate.
We have no regrets about adopting these kittens from this breeder, and we are thankful for the day we discovered her during our very intensive and exhaustive search of all ragdoll breeders in the northeast. Dutchess Ragdolls, almost 4 hours’ drive, was selected over many other breeders a lot closer in RI, MA, and CT.
