This includes delaying any vaccinations (if they are chosen) until at least 4–6 months of age. We believe this approach allows kittens additional time to benefit from maternal antibodies while supporting healthy immune system development and reducing the potential for vaccine-related adverse reactions during early growth. Therefore, your kitten will not go home having had any vaccines. We focus instead, on natural health through proper nutrition, careful breeding practices,  and minimized exposure to environmental toxins and unnecessary interventions. Our kittens are raised in a closed cattery to protect their early development, and all of our parent cats undergo genetic health screening through Wisdom Panel. This assures that the kittens are clear of potential breed-relevant genetic conditions, such as HCM. Our cats have all tested negative for FIV and FeLV. 

Natural nutrition is another cornerstone of our program. Our kittens are never fed kibble, and we strongly encourage kitten parents to consider healthy alternatives. Instead of highly processed foods, we focus on species-appropriate nutrition centered around fresh, moisture-rich meals that more closely reflect a cat's natural biological needs. We are happy to provide ongoing guidance and resources to help families continue this approach after adoption. Fortunately, providing a species-appropriate diet doesn't have to be complicated. Most pet stores carry at least a few of the many commercially available fresh frozen, and dehydrated raw or minimally processed cat foods on the market today. Many excellent fresh food companies even offer convenient meal plans that can be delivered directly to your doorstep, making it easier than ever to feed your cat a natural, biologically appropriate diet. For those cat humans who enjoy making meals themselves, we are happy to share recipes, educational resources, videos, and trusted references to help you on your culinary journey. 

We also do not routinely spay or neuter kittens before they leave our care. Based on the guidance we follow, we believe natural sex hormones play an important role in healthy growth, development, metabolism, and overall wellness during maturity.
